The documentary "The Heritage Guardian" and a feature program on the economic thought of President Xi Jinping will be broadcast across mainstream media in China's Macao Special Administrative Region on Sunday.
Produced by China Media Group (CMG), "The Heritage Guardian" features vivid stories that reflect Xi's deep concern for the inheritance and development of culture. It showcases his deep affection for cultural heritage and his profound thinking on preserving historical continuity and strengthening cultural confidence.
The documentary uses vivid examples to present China's practical efforts in the new era to trace the origins of civilization and protect cultural heritage, highlighting the profound, far-reaching, inclusive and ever-evolving nature of Chinese culture.
Jointly produced by CMG and the National Development and Reform Commission, the feature program on Xi's economic thought systematically sorts out the historic achievements and changes that have taken place in China's economic development in the new era under the guidance of the theory.
Focusing on Xi's important discourses on applying the new development philosophy, building the new development pattern, promoting high-quality development, and developing new quality productive forces, the program comprehensively demonstrates the characteristics and theoretical value of Xi's economic thought.
Several premium film and television programs produced by CMG will also be screened in Macao from September 29.
