The United Nations General Assembly High-Level Week begins on Monday, September 22, and world leaders will outline their priorities and meet on the sidelines to tackle global crises.

Behind the scenes, staff at the UN's historic headquarters are preparing for the busiest week of the year, with interpreters playing a crucial role.

They are tasked with handling a delicate tool of diplomacy, language, a job that requires extensive preparation and split-second reactions.
