The humanitarian crisis in Gaza continues to worsen as Israeli military operations intensify. Gaza health authorities reported on Saturday that 77 Palestinians were killed and 265 injured in the past 24 hours alone. Among the casualties, 17 people were killed and 89 wounded while waiting for humanitarian aid distribution.

Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz announced on Saturday that more than 750,000 civilians have fled Gaza, declaring that Israel's campaign has entered a "decisive" stage and would continue "until all objectives are achieved." The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) on the same day confirmed that its operations had expanded in northern Gaza, particularly Gaza City, targeting around 120 sites, seizing weapons, and killing several Hamas fighters.

Meanwhile, reports cited by Israel's Haaretz suggested that Hamas had agreed in principle to a U.S.-backed ceasefire proposal. The reported plan includes the release of all Israeli hostages by Hamas, a phased withdrawal of Israeli forces from Gaza, and the release of Palestinian prisoners. Hamas has yet to issue an official statement.

Global voices of discontent are growing louder. At the UN General Assembly (UNGA), Omani Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr bin Hamad bin Hamood Al Busaidi on Saturday called for the United Nations to impose sanctions on Israel and reiterated support for the establishment of a Palestinian state.

"For too long, this conflict has persisted, the suffering has grown unbearable, and the time has come to end the occupation, to undo the injustice, and to restore the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people through the implementation of the two-state solution," he said.

In his UNGA address, Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis warned that Israel risks losing its remaining allies if it continues its offensive in Gaza.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu faced silent protests as delegates from multiple countries walked out during his UNGA address on Friday. Despite the near-empty hall, Netanyahu vowed to eradicate Hamas and accused Western leaders of inciting "antisemitism."

In New York, large-scale protests erupted on Friday, with demonstrators accusing Washington of enabling Israel's actions. Protesters carried banners reading "Stop U.S. Aid to Israel,""Ceasefire in Gaza," and "Free Palestine."

Berlin also saw mass demonstrations on Saturday, with police estimating around 50,000 participants – well above the 30,000 originally registered. Protesters chanted "Stop the genocide" and "Freedom for Palestine," while police dispersed some gatherings over unlawful activities.
