The low-altitude economy will become a new engine of economic growth and activate new forms of consumption in China, said Yang Yi, a member of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), on Friday.

Yang, a senior technical expert at the Aviation Industry Corporation of China, made the remarks during a question-and-answer session at the Members' Corridor, as the third session of the 14th National Committee of the CPPCC held its second group interview at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing.
