Over the past three years, under the leadership of the Chief Executive, the SAR Government's governing team has worked diligently, acted pragmatically, and achieved historic progress, leading all sectors of society to strive for economic development and ushering in a new chapter of governance and prosperity for Hong Kong. CCTV reporters traveled across Hong Kong's 18 districts, interviewing the governing team and people from all walks of life. Through their lens, they captured Hong Kong's rapid development and explored the secrets behind the residents' ever-increasing sense of fulfillment and happiness. The integrated media short video series "Bauhinia Blooms in a New Era," which vividly depicts the story of Hong Kong's progress in good governance in the new era, officially launched today (September 12).

The ten-episode integrated media short video series "Bauhinia Blooms and Renews" includes "Building a Strong National Security Wall," "Planting the Seeds of Patriotism," "Polishing the Golden Brand of 'Super Connectors,'" "Planting the Wings of Science and Technology Innovation," "Creating a Magnificent Event Economy," "Connecting Development Arteries," "Igniting Passion for Sports," "Supporting the Dream of a Secure Home," "Good Policies to Promote 'Heart-to-Heart Connection,'" and "Building a Stage for Youth to Pursue Their Dreams." Using a brisk narrative approach, the series, from the perspective of CCTV journalists, focuses on the Hong Kong SAR government's achievements in key development areas, including national security, patriotic education, the economy, society, and people's livelihoods. Interviews with 13 Hong Kong SAR government secretaries and directors, including Chan Kwok-kei, Paul Chan, and Lam Ting-kwok, as well as representatives from various sectors, including Wai-king Lee and Chan Yik-ting, vividly showcase their spirit of overcoming challenges in safeguarding national security, enhancing development momentum, and resolving livelihood issues such as housing and healthcare.

CCTV reporters visited Hong Kong communities, schools, science parks, stadiums, airports, and ports to understand the voices of grassroots residents. Using vivid images and moving visuals, they told the remarkable stories of how Hong Kong residents, under the leadership of the SAR government, are working together to create a better life.

Today (September 12), the integrated media short video series "Bauhinia Blooms and Renews" was launched on the "Voice of the Greater Bay Area" new media platform. It was broadcast on CGTV's new media platforms, including the CCTV News app, CCTV Video app, and CCTV.com. It was also broadcast simultaneously by Hong Kong media outlets such as RTHK and Ta Kung Pao.
