The draw ceremony for the WTT (World Table Tennis) China Smash took place in Beijing on Friday, with home superstars Sun Yingsha and Wang Chuqin participating as special guests, alongside Brazil's Hugo Calderano and Puerto Rico's Adriana Diaz.

Wang and Calderano conducted the women's singles draw, with the results placing several Chinese players, including Sun Yingsha, Wang Yidi, and Chen Xingtong, in the top half of the draw, while Wang Manyu and Kuai Man were assigned to the bottom half.

Sun Yingsha and Diaz then carried out the men's singles draw, with the outcome positioning Wang Chuqin, Liang Jingkun, Lin Gaoyuan, and Xiang Peng in the top half, while Lin Shidong was slotted into the bottom half.

The main draw for this season's latest Grand Smash competition is scheduled to get underway on Sunday at Shougang Park in Beijing.
