The Third China International Supply Chain Expo was held in Beijing from July 16 to 20. In the dedicated exhibition area for the clean energy supply chain, a full-cycle industrial chain of clean energy including the latest technologies and products, as well as the trends driving the sector, was on display.

Today, China is the world's leading supplier of renewable energy products. The country has built the largest and fastest-growing clean energy system globally, producing 80 percent of the world's photovoltaic modules and 70 percent of wind power key components, according to the organizers of the "Charting the Green Horizon" event at the expo. It also ranks among the top producers of hydropower, nuclear power and power transmission equipment.

According to the latest data released by China's National Energy Administration, by the end of May 2025, the country's total installed power generation capacity had reached 3.61 billion kilowatts, marking an 18.8-percent year-on-year increase.
