Canada is awaiting the new tariff deadline. In early March, U.S. President Donald Trump announced he would be making an exception for the Canadian and Mexican auto industries, and paused tariffs impacting that sector. But that exemption runs out in early April. Trump is also threatening further tariffs on other goods.
